Trouble's Always Brewing for Jenny, Episode 3.17

Vulnerable and insecure, but spunky and motivated (to get what she wants!), Jenny Humphrey (aka “Little J”) is the youngest of the Gossip Girl characters. The daughter of musician Rufus Humphrey, younger sister of Dan Humphrey, and the BFF of Serena van der Woodsen’s younger brother, Eric, Jenny tries to fit in with the "It" crowd, even though she doesn’t really belong in their world, being from (relatively) middle-class Brooklyn. She goes to wild and embarrassing lengths to set up an image for herself, which causes much consternation for her brother and father. Despite her lack of clout, Jenny manages to steal Nate Archibald from Blair Waldorf and Vanessa Abrams in Season 1, and dethrones Blair to become the de facto new social queen herself for a brief period. [SPOILER] At the end of Season 2, Blair announces Jenny as her successor as Queen Bee of Constance. Jenny immediately announced plans to “abolish the monarchy forever.” Side note: Unlike the books, in which Jenny has dark brown hair and eyes and is barely five feet, Jenny in the show is tall (standing at five-foot-eight) and shockingly blonde.
