Episodes: Blair Waldorf Must Pie
It's a rough Thanksgiving on the Upper East Side. After a fight with Serena, Blair uninvites the van der Woodsen clan to Thanksgiving dinner. Dan asks Serena (and her family) to spend the holiday with his family instead. This creates an uncomfortable situation for Rufus and Lily, who have not yet shared their complicated romantic past with their children. Blair freaks out when she learns that her father isn't coming home for Thanksgiving, and Nate spends a painful holiday with his parents. Throughout the episode, there are flashbacks to the previous year's holiday, when Blair, Serena, and Nate were all good friends—and Serena was still a wild child.
