Season 3: All the things that stand in the way

In the beginning: Chuck and Blair are still together and are playing games to keep things feeling light and fun — by messing with other people. Blair attends NYU and, um, lives with Georgina.

Hook-ups: Chuck. Jack Bass — remember that whole New Years thing?

Feuds: Georgina (What kind of a SWF just moves in?), Chuck, Jenny (B can’t let things go)

Scandals: Jack Bass tells C he’ll give back the hotel for a night with B. C agrees and B goes to put out, not knowing of C’s involvement. Although they don’t go through with it, B later finds out C put her up for auction. Also, when C is going to propose to B An Affair to Remember-style, Dan tells B that Chuck slept with Jenny.

Biggest Moment: Blair realizes just how much stands between her and Chuck and forever.

Relationship with Serena: Not awesome... until it is

Relationship with Chuck: Together... break up... together... it’s the season in which they both realize that though they love each other, neither can change enough to make things okay.

And in the end?: Serena and Blair run off to Paris for the summer, both single.
