Katie Cassidy, nee Katherine Evelyn Cassidy, is the daughter of 1970s pop star David Cassidy and fashion model Sherry Williams. She had a typical busy childhood bursting with all sorts of extracurriculars: gymnastics, piano, guitar, singing, dancing, acting, and cheerleading. Now, Katie is steaming up the Upper East Side scene in Gossip Girl as Juliet Sharp — but she’s been honing her acting chops for ages as a regular on the horror movie scene (think Black Christmas, When A Stranger Calls, and Nightmare On Elm Street.) She’s even performed a cover of her dad’s song, “I Think I Love You,” modeled for Abercrombie & Fitch, and dated Jesse McCartney. Talk about a burgeoning Hollywood career! She’s frighteningly good as the scheming Juliet, so we have a feeling this saucy gal will be around for a while.
