The CW Gives The Flash a Prime Timeslot — When Can You Watch Grant Gustin?
The CW released their primetime schedule for the 2014-2015 television season, and we’re happy to report that Grant Gustin’s The Flash scored a prime timeslot, one that may even look very familiar to Glee fans!
Per TVLine, The CW has opted to air The Flash on Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET, the same slot Glee had on FOX for Season 5. Glee’s sixth and final season won’t be premiering until 2015, but if FOX keeps the dramedy in its current timeslot, we could be forced to enlist our DVRs for some help. Still, Glee’s midseason debut means that we won’t have to prep out DVRs for several months, if at all.
The Flash doesn’t have a specific premiere date just yet, but we will certainly be on the lookout for the freshman drama, especially after getting a look at Grant in costume! We’d grown accustomed to seeing Grant rocking Sebastian’s Dalton Academy blazer and Warbler garb, but we must admit that he looks pretty good in that red bodysuit!
For those of you who don’t know the story behind The Flash, Grant plays Barry, a scientist who suddenly becomes the Fastest Man Alive — just like in the DC Comic of the same name, which the show is based on. He’ll be starring alongside Jesse L. Martin and Tom Cavanagh on the drama, which has been paired with The CW’s staple, Supernatural, on Tuesday nights. The network must have plenty of faith in The Flash if it gets to be Supernatural’s lead-in for the 9 p.m. ET hour!
Will you be watching Grant on The Flash this fall, or will you be mourning the absence of Glee instead? Tell us how you feel below!
