While we’re sad to see Sebastian go (he was a great villain, after all!), we’re happy to see him be the lead in a new project. But he’s not the only Glee star we’d like to see star in their own pilots.
Here are five other Glee stars we think deserve to be in the spotlight!
1. Dianna Agron

We know Dianna Agron has yet to be asked back to the Glee set for Season 5, so we think it’s time for Dianna to make her TV comeback. While she would be a perfect fit for the stereotypical “Girl Next Door” or “Queen Bee” characters on a teen show, we like to see her branch out into more adult roles. We think Dianna would thrive in a cable drama — the next Mad Men, perhaps?
As much as we love Kurt Hummel, Chris Colfer really needs to branch out. He’s way too talented to be in the background. We know Chris is a writer, so we think he could develop and star in his own teen TV comedy. And if we’re lucky, he’ll ask Darren Criss to guest star on an episode or two!
It’s time for Kevin McHale to stop living in Artie's wheelchair’s shadow. This triple threat (actor, singer, and dancer!) has shown us his comedic chops on Glee, so we think he’d be a perfect for a network comedy.
4. Naya Rivera

Scene-stealer Naya Rivera would be the perfect rival for Grant’s Flash — as Wonder Woman! Networks have been trying to reboot Lynda Carter’s iconic TV role for years, but we think Naya has just the right amount of sass and confidence for the job. Plus, how amazing would she look in that Wonder Woman costume?
Blake Jenner’s charisma and good looks is the perfect formula for CW stardom. The Glee newbie may have only spent one year at McKinley, but we know he can handle the melodramatic storylines (hey, getting Catfished is an emotional experience!) a teen show on the CW would throw at him. He can make us laugh, cry, and swoon? Yeah, he’s CW heartthrob material.
What do you think, Gleeks? Who would you like to see get their own shows? Sound off in the comments below!
Catch the Season 5 premiere of Glee on Thursday, September 26, 2013, at 9 p.m. ET on FOX.
