Gregg Leakes Weighs In on the End of NeNe’s and Cynthia Bailey’s Friendship

Now that the Season 6 Reunion of the Real Housewives of Atlanta is over and done with, everyone seems to be weighing in on one of the bigger surprises from the three part event — the demise of the longstanding friendship between NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey. Some peeps claim they saw the end coming, while others are still in shock. Now one of NeNe's closest and dearest is putting in his two cents: her hubby, Gregg Leakes.

Gregg took to his Twitter page to share his thoughts on the sad break-up, saying, "Nene & cynthia were friends to each other. Like life, we live & die, even our friendships. Let them move on & b the best at what they do.”

Ironically, it was the verbal fight between Gregg and Cynthia's husband Peter Thomas that put the falling out into motion in the first place.

When the ladies and their men took a trip to Mexico this past season, Peter and Gregg ended up in one another's faces screaming. When the women walked in on the drama-filled scenario, NeNe called Peter a "bitch" for being so involved in the ladies' affairs. At the time, Cynthia blew off the comment, but we later found out that it didn't sit well at all with her.

Fast-forward six months and it's goodbye to their BFF status.

Neither woman expects to reconcile and, clearly, Gregg also feels that moving on is the best for the former pals.
