Last night’s Grey's Anatomy Season 9 finale (Season 9, Episode 24: "Perfect Storm") took place just as a crazy, dangerous storm hit Seattle, and the toll it took on the hospital was pretty disastrous. Not only did the storm send tons of patients with weather-related injuries to the ER, but it knocked out the power to the hospital, too, which could have had deadly consequences for patients relying on machines to keep them alive.

Especially if those patients were babies. Arizona, Jo, and Alex faced one of their biggest challenges yet — keeping the tiny human makers calm as the babies’ vents lost power one by one after realizing there were no spare batteries to keep them running.

Last night, Jessica Capshaw (Arizona Robbins) tweeted, “Justin and I got in trouble while shooting in the NICU because we could NOT stop laughing. I was crying I was laughing so hard.”

Trying to film a scene where all the babies in the ward could die if their ventilators stopped breathing for them? During a massive storm? And a power outage? Yep, all that tension would make us laugh, too!

Fortunately, the power came back before anyone in the NICU was truly in danger, and their parents got a good lesson on how to bag their own babies in an emergency, too. And most importantly, it sounds like the actors had fun!
