The Grey's Anatomy Season 9 finale was a rough one for romances. Yes, there was some good news — MerDer's family grew, Jo and Alex kissed, April finally realized her feelings for Jackson —  but there were also two huge break ups: Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) Cristina (Sandra Oh). But which was more upsetting to you?

To us, the Calzona and the Owen/Cristina scenes at the end of the episode were both very hard to bear, and it's difficult to pick which was worse.

The Calzona fight was definitely the more dramatic, hurtful confrontation. Our jaws were on the floor when Arizona yelled that Callie should have her leg cut off, and then they'd be even. That's harsh. Crazy harsh. And it was made all the worse by the fact that just a few episodes ago, we thought these two were doing great.

That said, we do think there is a glimmer of hope for Calzona. Owen and Cristina, on the other hand, seem to be done. Like, done, done. This is a break up two seasons in the making. They've tried to save their marriage-turned-non-marriage in every way possible, but they are fundamentally incompatible when it comes to the desire to have kids, and it looks like Cristina has finally realized that means it can't work. If they have a kid, she will resent Owen; if they don't, he will resent her. As far as we can tell they're over forever.

So, which scene did you find more upsetting: The surprising fight that turned a happy marriage on its head, but leaves some room for hope, or the seemingly permanent goodbye between the couple that had been struggling to make it work for seasons?
