For the first time in eight years, Kate Walsh won’t be wearing a white coat on television. The former Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice star is making a triumphant return to the small screen in exciting, star-studded new DirecTV series, Full Circle.
Neil LaBute — playwright, screenwriter, and director known for In the Company of Men, The Shape of Things, and Death at a Funeral, among others — makes his TV debut with this new 10-episode relationship drama. According to TVLine, it “follows 11 people whose lives are unknowingly intertwined,” and each episode features a different pair having a conversation at a restaurant. From there, one person will interact with another character, each storyline emerging like a game of telephone.
Kate plays Trisha, who is married to a man named Trent (played by The Killing’s Billy Campbell), and whose storyline revolves around her son (Lost’s Devon Gearhart), his secret crush (Keke Palmer), and their relationship. Though not many details have surfaced about her character, we know she’s a teacher, with The Borgais’ Noah Silver and Harry Potter’s Tom Felton as two of her students!
The star-studded cast also includes Bones’ David Boreanaz, Nip/Tuck’s Julian McMahon, Friday Night Lights’ Minka Kelly, 30 Rock’s Cheyenne Jackson, Psych’s Aly Sheedy, Sons of Anarchy’s Robin Weigert, and more.
