The actor recently bought the Tully’s Coffee chain, Starbucks’ Seattle rival, and he revealed his big plans for expansion to Bon Appetit in their June 2013 issue. One of his most outrageous ideas? Selling pot in his stores.
When asked about his coffee intake, he mentioned that he drinks five cups a day and wants to become a “certified barista and work in the stores.” However, he doesn’t let it affect his sleep and claims it’s good for him.
“Coffee is good for your mind--it's basically a legalized drug. The next step is selling marijuana, of course,” he told the magazine with a laugh. And yes, ideally, Tully’s will sell it.
“There's a business model there. You could present it in a beautiful, elegant way: a Michelin-starred coffee shop where you can get marijuana,” he explained. Sounds like he has big McDreams.
