We’ve been anxiously awaiting a sneak peek at Grey’s Anatomy Season 10 since we last left poor Richard in a very deadly situation at Grey Sloan Memorial. It looks like the wait is finally over, Grey’s fans as ABC has released the first look at the new season.

As the docs race to save former chief Richard Webber, it looks like the storm — and the explosion that happened outside the hospital — has sent Grey Sloan Memorial into a panic. As one doc fights for his life, two surgeons unexpectedly go head-to-head. Wetpaint Entertainment has taken a close look at the preview for the Season 10 premiere (“Seal Our Fate”), and it’s chock-full of heart-stopping moments.

Here are the most important things we've gathered from our frame-by-frame analysis:

The storm rages on. As we previously reported, the Season 10 premiere will pick up right where the Season 9 finale left off, with a deadly storm wreaking havoc on Grey Sloan Memorial.

Richard is still alive — but barely — and for how long? It looks like Richard is being wheeled on a trauma gurney eight seconds into the promo, so we know the docs were able to find Richard in the nick of time. However, his condition appears to be critical, and Derek is intent on saving his life.

Meredith is out of the loop. In the promo, Meredith tells Derek to let her know “what’s going on.” It sounds like Derek doesn’t want to let Mer know about Webber’s condition. After all, Meredith didn’t have the easiest pregnancy, and with her hostile uterus nearly costing her her life — and the life of baby Bailey — we can understand why Derek doesn’t want to stress his wife out. But if there’s one thing we know about Meredith, it’s that she’s going to get the truth out of someone, anyway she can.

“He is going to die if we don’t do anything!” Now, we’re assuming Bailey is talking about Richard. We know Bailey has been stuck in a rut recently, after she accidentally infected her patients with a staph infection, so this scene between Cristina and Baily could be Cristina telling Bailey she’s not allowed on Richard’s case. Obviously, Bailey has a deep personal connection to the former chief, which would make it hard to think logically.

“You work for me.” We definitely weren’t expecting Cristina to snap at Bailey like this, but it looks like Dr. Yang is pulling the “I own this hospital card” after all. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Here’s hoping Cristina was simply trying to calm Bailey down.

Time of death. At the end of the promo Owen calls time of death, but for who? Could it be another victim of the explosion? Or are they calling a time of death on Richard? (Given this recent spoiler we’re going to go with the former.) Regardless of what actually happens, it’s still making us nervous! Not to be grim, but has anyone seen April's firefighter fiance Matthew? Derek and Owen looked a little too upset to be calling the time of death on a complete stranger.
