It was intern Heather Brooks, AKA Mousey. Yes, sad, though less sad than it could have been since we saw it coming. Don't worry, actress Tina Majorino has another gig lined up; in fact, our guess is the writers decided to kill her because she had another role. So don't feel bad for Tina!

You should, on the other hand, feel bad for poor intern Shane Ross, who was sorta kinda indirectly responsible for Heather's death, and certainly seems to think he's at fault. Why? Well, Heather died after getting electrocuted after trying to rescue Richard from the generator room. She was only in the generator room because Shane sent here there, even though finding Richard was supposed to be his task. Of course, she was the one who ran forward without looking around, but still, his guilt will probably be interesting going forward.

We were also touched by how upset Derek felt. He really had found a mentee in Heather. He's going to miss her.
