While the American preview for Grey's Anatomy Season 10,  Episode 3: "Everybody's Crying Mercy" is all lightness and laughter, the promo from Canadian channel CTV tells a different story.

What info can we glean from this preview of the episode? We've taken a close look to see what secrets it reveals.

A shocking phone call. The promo opens with Callie on the phone saying, "What?" Then we see Meredith on the phone saying, "She's bleeding out," and then there's Callie running through the hospital saying, "Tell her I'm on my way." Who knows if these calls are all connected (in one shot Callie has her surgical cap on, in another she doesn't, so maybe not), but it certainly seems there's some big medical drama headed our way.

A saw. Next we see Meredith say "give me the saw," followed by a shot of Callie, in a surgery, saying, "What the hell did you just do?" Again, not sure if these are actually from the same scene, but either way the stakes seem high.

What did Shane do? At :06 we see Meredith and Bailey sitting by Richard, who is still in his hospital bed while Shane stands by him. "You were supposed to wait," Meredith says. "He was starving to death, so I did what had to be done," Shane replies. Interesting. At least Shane appears to be doing something other than moping around feeling guilty about Heather’s death..

Calzona tensions. At :11, Arizona asks Callie if she'll see her tonight, and Callie says she doesn't think it's a good idea. Arizona protests that Callie has agreed to couple's therapy with her. "Yeah, we agreed to a lot of things," Callie snarks back. Ouch.

Owen vs. Jackson. Finally, at :14 there's a confrontation between Jackson and Owen, where it looks like Jackson wields some of his board powers. Apparently Owen wants to cancel a pro bono surgery, and Jackson is not having it. The moment ends with Owen angrily agreeing, "Yes, sir." Do we sense ongoing tension in the air?
