One of our favorite things about Grey's Anatomy's tenth season so far? The adorable budding romance between Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) and bubbly intern Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington). In last week's season premiere, Jo and Alex were all over each other in — where else? — the on-call room, and we love their effortlessly flirty relationship.

So what's to come in the future for these two? A little growing up, as Justin told TVLine, but also a lot of fun.

"What they do for a living is so serious," Justin commented. "It's nice to lighten up and have fun." He later insinuated that Jo could be that one stable love Alex has been looking for… but noted that he doesn't know what's to come any better than we do!

And one of their relationship's first tests? A visit from Alex's father, played by Dexter's James Remar. And this will be the first time we'll ever encounter one of his parents… aka the people responsible for his less-than-stellar childhood being shuffled between foster homes until he turned 18.

But Jo, having spent her teen years in a similar situation, can totally sympathize — and, according to Justin, she'll play a key role in his surviving Daddy Karev's visit.

"Jo's going to be there to kind of pick him up and tell him to get on with it," he said. "That should deepen their relationship."

Are you totally pro-Jalex, or would you rather see Alex with someone else? Sound off below!
