Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona aren't exactly at a good place in their relationship on Grey's Anatomy Season 10. OK, let's be more honest: things are looking completely grim for their marriage, and it sounds like they don't pick up any time soon. In fact, some spoilers suggests the gals might have other love interests this year.

While our Calzona shipping hearts break at the idea of Callie and Arizona seeing other people, the more logical side of our brains realize that it might be inevitable. Who knows, maybe trying out other relationships is a key part of their journey back to each other. Hey, a shipper can dream, right?

So, if the girls have to have new love interests, what should they be like? We have some thoughts on what we'd like to see from the next person Callie gets romantic with.

A woman. We love the fact that Callie is truly bisexual, since there are too few bi characters on TV who are actually shown having romantic interests of both genders, so we won't smash our TVs if she ends up with a guy. That said, in many ways Callie is still fairly new to relationships with women, and it would be interesting to see her have a more casual same-sex relationship.

Not a doctor. While some suspect that intern Leah could end up hooking upt with Callie, we think it would be good for her to shake things up and look outside the hospital for a love interest. If she's trying to escape the pain of what Arizona did, why not pick someone very different?

Fun! Listen, if we have to watch Callie with someone other than Arizona, we at least hope that character is enjoyable to have on screen. We'd love for Callie to find someone funny, fun, and lighthearted.

Not too serious. Let's be real, we want Callie to get back with Arizona in the end, so we're keeping our fingers crossed that if she does start a relationship with someone else, it'll be casual.
