Grey’s Anatomy Season 10, so far, seems like it’s a lot more about couples breaking up than it is about them coming together. But fortunately, two of our doctors who were hit the hardest in the relationship department are finding support to get them through their breakups: Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Owen (Kevin McKidd).
“Callie and Owen are striking up their friendship,” Kevin told The Hollywood Reporter about the 200th episode, which airs tonight on ABC. “They’ve always had a friendship off and on, and they’ve always had an unfettered respect for each other.”
We’re thinking this is probably a good idea — Callie and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) have a long road ahead of them if their relationship will ever be repaired, and Cristina (Sandra Oh) doesn’t seem like she’s going to budge on her breakup with Owen.
“He is bringing her [to the gala] to help him, and he is abandoning her throughout the whole episode,” Camilla said. “He’s running away and he’s not present, and she’s feeling super stressed about it. So, even in that tension between them, I feel so invested in their relationship it breaks my heart to see them having problems.”
So do we, so we hope they patch things up — and quickly! And in the midst of all that action, according to the Grey’s Anatomy Twitter, Alex will reveal “an emotional secret” to Jo, too — could it involve his estranged father, Dexter’s James Remar, who may be joining the cast as early as the 200th episode? Only a few more hours ‘til we find out!
