Good news, Crowen fans: No matter how bleak their future may look right now, there’s hope for Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) yet.

Well, at least if Kevin has anything to say about it — and if he’s right, it could be many years in the future. But we can dream, right?

Cristina and Owen have had their fair share of challenges in the past few seasons: PTSD attacks, arguments over whether or not to have kids, abortions, a divorce, too many break-ups to count — you know, the typical issues that every relationship faces.

And this season, their biggest struggle? Finally getting over each other — for real this time, they swear! — for once and for all. But according to what Kevin told Glamour at the party honoring Grey’s Anatomy’s 200th episode, he thinks they may eventually go back on their word (as per usual).

“I feel like she’ll come back in a few years,” Kevin said, referencing Sandra’s impending departure at the end of this season. “She’ll go away and Owen will do his thing. He’ll think he’s happy, but suddenly she’ll walk through the doors one day, and he’ll go, 'Oh s—t,' and I’m going to have to divorce my wife that I married now, and it will explode my whole life because you’re the one!”

Hopefully, if Kevin’s right, they’ll save that one for the inevitable Grey’s reunion. Right, Shonda?

Do you think Cristina and Owen are destined to be together, or are they better off with other people? Sound off below!
