Looks like Alex Karev won't be the only Grey Sloan Memorial doctor to be reunited with Dear Old Dad this season.

TV Guide reports that Hector Elizondo will appear in an upcoming episode of Grey's Anatomy, reprising his role as Carlos Torres, Callie's (Sara Ramirez) father.

Nothing else is known about the circumstances surrounding his return, except that it will take place in a "Callie-centric" episode airing in November.

Hector, 76, has had a career in film, TV, and theater for more than four decades. He's perhaps best known for another medical drama, Chicago Hope, on which he starred as the hospital's in-house attorney. He's also had roles in Pretty Woman, The Princess Diaries, and Valentine's Day.

He first visited Chicago to meet Callie's first spouse, George (T.R. Knight), offering the new couple money and later commending George for refusing it. By the time he returned two seasons later, he discovered that Callie and George had cheated on one another and that he daughter was dating a woman. He came back with a priest to try to "pray away the gay," but Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) eventually won him over, and he started supporting Callie and her same-sex love.

Time will tell what kind of drama he'll stir up this time!

Grey’s Anatomy airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
