It looks like Grey's Anatomy Season 10 is all about the daddy drama — not only is Alex's deadbeat dad in the hospital, but Callie's (Sara Ramirez) opinionated father (Carlos Torres, played by Hector Elizondo) is also going to make an appearance in a Callie-centric episode this November.

So far, there's not much info about what papa Torres is doing back on the show, which leaves us plenty of room to fantasize about what we'd like his plot to be. Given that Callie is currently in the midst of a huge marriage crisis, there are lots of ways her father's reappearance on the scene could play out, and we know Hector Elizondo can handle whatever Shonda Rhimes and co. throw at him.

With that in mind, here are three things we'd like to see when Carlos Torres returns to our small screens.

Let Callie break down. We've seen Callie get mad about Arizona's affair, but not so much sad. It seems like her anger at Arizona is keeping her going — but since she's headed for the door, we don't think that's a good thing. Maybe she needs to stop for a second and let all the pain out with some good old fashioned cry therapy. Who better than her dad to provide a shoulder to sob on?

Confront Arizona. Arizona and her awesomeness is a large part of the reason Carlos eventually let go of his homophobic desire to see Callie with a man, so we'd love to see how he reacts now that she's done something less-than-sweet to his daughter. This could definitely lead to a complex and interesting new dynamic between them.

Set Callie on the road to forgiveness. In the end, we're Calzona shippers, and we'd love nothing more than for Callie's dad to encourage her down the path of forgiving her wife. It would also be a nice cap to his arc — he started being entirely against Callie dating Arizona, so it would be nice if in the end he's part of the reason they resolve their differences.
