Now that Grey's Anatomy stud Jesse Williams and wife Aryn Drake-Lee are expecting their first child, they've got a nursery to prepare. And they may have just picked up something special for the walls. The couple recently attended the opening of LA art space The Mistake Room… and ended up winning a piece of work!
While The Mistake Room doesn't officially open until January, Jesse and Aryn were guests at the October 13 bash held at Siren Studios in Hollywood. Bread & Wine catered the party, while Heineken, Bombay Sapphire and Saint Germain Sours provided the drinks.
"They were very sweet together," a fellow guest at the bash tells Wetpaint Entertainment. "You can tell they're really enjoying this time in their lives."
They were seen perusing the works and, right before the deadline, Jesse put a bid in on a piece, which he later won. No, we don't know for sure if it's going in the baby's room, we're just sighing at the adorable idea of it.
Jesse and Aryn first met in his pre-Grey's days when he was a high school teacher struggling to make ends meet. He landed his first big role in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 a year later.
"She's stuck with me through thick and thick and thick and thin," Jesse raved in 2010. "We know each other in and out."
Congrats again on the soon-to-be arrival!
