Grey’s Anatomy is known for its relationship drama, but it’s been a while since we saw an epic proclamation of love followed by an equally-epic rejection. But in tonight’s episode (Season 10, Episode 6: “Map of You”), that will all happen in less than a minute.

The scene starts off with Leah Murphy (Tessa Ferrer) interrupting a gossip session between Shane Ross (Gaius Charles) and Stephanie Edwards (Jerrika Hinton). Since they’re clearly talking about her hookup — or at least how she spent the night at someone else’s place — she decides to just tell it like it is.

“God, you guys, fine. It’s Arizona Robbins. And please don’t say anything, OK, because she really doesn’t need—” she starts to say before Shane interrupts her, questioning, “So...you’re gay now?”

Leah isn’t havin’ it, responding, “Shane, grow up. It’s a sliding scale and I slid over her way. If you really want to label anything, then label me in love.”

But before she can go on, Arizona shouts her name — and not in a loving tone.

“I’m sorry. They pretty much figured it out,” Leah says with a grin… and then things look more grim.

“No, I’m sorry, because I’m about to be very frank. The other night was a bad call on my part. I was lonely and it was lovely, but it was one night, and that’s all that it will ever be,” Arizona says sternly. “So if you had different expectations, please adjust them.”

How does Leah react? Let’s just say there are tears and a long ramble. Check out the clip below to see their whole awkward interaction, then watch the whole episode tonight, October 24, at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
