Official Synopsis

Let's start off by seeing what the official synopsis has to say.

It's Halloween, and the doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial are hit with a barrage of spooky patients, which affects their own plans and puts one doctor's well-being in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Derek [Patrick Dempsey] collaborates with Ben [Jason George] on a new surgical technique, and Richard [James Pickens Jr.]  angers Bailey [Chandra Wilson] when he asks a second-year resident to perform his next surgery, on a special Halloween episode. Jason George (Mistresses) guest-stars.

Wow, sounds like it's a busy night at the hospital! There are a couple of noteworthy things we want to call out from this summary.

First of all: Jason George is back as Ben! Get ready for the show's hotness factor to increase exponentially. The adorable factor might also be going up, because Bailey's son is also back this week, though he'll be played by a different actor. We haven't really seen Ben with Tuck much, so hopefully we'll get some heartwarming step-father and son bonding scenes.

Second, a doc's well being is in danger. Because hey, it's been a few weeks since one of the main characters was in peril, so why not? Based on the promo, we're pretty sure Leah's the one who has problems, after she's bit by a "zombie."

Zombies and Werewolves and Horror, Oh My!

So, yeah, let's talk about that whole "zombie" thing. No, we're pretty sure Grey's hasn't gone into the realm of the unreal, but based on the promo it appears a patient with zombie-like symptoms shows up in the ER. That's bad enough!

This episode will probably also involve a patient who is utterly convinced he's been bitten by a werewolf. We're not 100 percent sure if that case happens this week, but it sure seems to fit the theme.
