Based on the promo for Grey’s Anatomy Season 10, Episode 8: “Two Against One,” it looked like April Kepner and her fiance Matthew were thinking of sealing the deal, but apparently they’re not on the same page at all.

In a new sneak peek (via SpoilerTV), the engaged couple finds out the results of their compatibility test — which April nervously pre-empts by saying, “I’m sure we did great. If we didn’t do great, we’ll take it again. I took my boards twice.” — and moves on to bigger topics after their pastor delivers the news.

“So, listen. There’s one problem that we really haven’t discussed,” Matthew starts to say. When April seems dumbfounded, he adds, “Well, c’mon, we’re compatible, but we’re certainly not equal!”

That’s when things take a turn for the worse. “Oh, that? I wasn’t sure if that really bothered you,” she says. “Of course it really bothers me!” he immediately responds.

“Well, then we should just fix it,” she says with a peppy voice. “Now? Before we’re married?” he responds, wide-eyed.

“Yeah. I mean, the solution’s simple…” April starts to say, and then the most awkward moment in their relationship happens.

“Just have sex!” he responds, just as she says, “Get a joint checking account.”

Eek. Looks like they have a lot more discussing — about sex and money — to do before they walk down the aisle.

Check out the super-awkward clip below, then catch the full episode on Thursday, November 7 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC. Do you think April and Matthew will last? Tell us in the comments!
