Charles Michael Davis may remember his time on Grey's Anatomy fondly, but it doesn't sound like he's all too fond of his character, Dr. Jason Myers.

When Zap2it asks the 28-year-old about the jump from doctor on Grey's to vampire on his new show, The Originals, Charlies makes it clear that there's no love lost between him and his on-screen Grey's persona: "On Grey's, the character is kind of a douche."

We know he's probably mincing his words, but "kind of a"? No, sir. More like, "full-blown." Remember, this is a guy who bragged about "nailing" Jo (Camilla Luddington) in the bathroom at Joe's Bar… right before giving her a black eye. (We normally don't condone violence, but we can hardly begrudge Jo for fighting back hard enough that he needed hospitalization.)

Now, however, Charles is reigning over New Orleans as Marcel, one of the lead characters in The CW's Vampire Diaries spin-off, The Originals.

And it sounds like trading in his scrubs for fangs suits Charles better. "Anything with vampires, I loved it," he enthuses. "Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles, I loved. There is a certain swagger with vampires. And my role is to be a modern-day vampire."

Was there anything redeeming about Jason? Please inform us below.
