Official Synopsis

Let's start off by seeing what the official synopsis has to say:

Ben worries that a casual conversation with Derek could potentially cause issues for Bailey, Cristina turns to Shane as tension grows with Meredith, and April’s upcoming wedding makes for an uncomfortable situation between Jackson and Stephanie. Meanwhile, Meredith plans a Thanksgiving dinner at her house.

How Close Do Cristina and Shane Get?

The synopsis suggests that Cristina and Meredith's problems continue this week, and the promo photos show the besties looking annoyed with each other again. Sigh. But when the synopsis says Cristina "turns" to Shane, what does it mean? The promo suggests the comfort she seeks is sexual, but only time will tell if that's true, or just a mislead.

How does Steph factor in?

In another promo photo for the episode, it looks like Meredith is telling poor Stephenie off, and actress Jerrika Hinton suggests that somehow this scene is the result of Steph doing the "right thing." Why is Mer mad at this intern? We're guessing she might still hold a grudge because Stephanie sided with Alex over her in the ER in Episode 8, though that could be a totally wrong theory. Maybe this is related to the "uncomfortable situation" between Jackson and Stephanie, instead? Either way, it seems like this just isn't poor Stephanie's week.
