If you've always wanted to see Grey's Anatomy's Sandra Oh really cut loose and lose Cristina's work-work-work ethic, now might be your chance. The 42-year-old Canadian actress — and soon-to-be ex-Grey's star — appears in the ninth episode of new Amazon series Betas, in a role that seems to be a total 180 from her Grey Sloan Memorial counterpart.

For one, look at how Sandra is dressed in new photos released by Entertainment Weekly. (Check out the pics here!) A tank top, statement jewelry, fuchsia lipstick — and feathers in her hair? Cristina would never be caught dead in that ensemble.

The show focuses on Trey and his nerdy friends who have developed a dating app and now must crash parties to find investors. As EW reports, Sandra plays Sharon, the mother of "street-wise digichick" Mikki (Maya Erskine). Apparently Mikki's rebelliousness attitude is a direct result of her "flaky" family — Sharon included.

From the pics, it seems like Sharon is a real party animal, laughing and drinking at a bar with youngsters half her age. We haven't seen Sandra do that since that time on Grey's when Cristina became a denim-vest-wearing, toxic-cocktail-brewing bar wench!

Amazon posted the first episode in April, and the following episodes have come out weekly since late November. Sandra's episode goes live today. Of course, you'll need Amazon Prime to watch it, or else you'll have to hope for a DVD release. Keep in mind: We still have weeks until Grey's Season 10 resumes!
