We've unearthed a massive spoiler about the back half of Grey's Anatomy Season 10, after combining intel from two sources.

We now know if Jimmy Evans (James Remar) — father of Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) — will live or die after his tumultuous surgery in Episode 12.

Don't read on if you don't want to know!

TV Guide reported that Jimmy is still alive at the start of Episode 13, and that we'll meet his estranged wife who is "lured to Grey Sloan Memorial under false pretenses" and is "about as happy with Jimmy as Alex has been."

But don't get your hopes up — it gets worse.

That spoiler aligns perfectly with an Episode 13 casting side — an encoded storyline synopsis casting agents use to audition actors without giving away spoilers — that SpoilerTV posted in November.

In the casting side, a character named "Tara" arrives at the hospital and is stunned to see "Sam," a doctor who looks just like her estranged husband, "Craig," of whom Tara and Sam share a "mutual hatred." She's stunned again to realize that Sam lied to her — that Craig isn't dead but on life support. ("False pretenses"? Check!)

But the real juicy part of the side is when Sam defends his lie, saying that Craig may not be dead but is dying from sepsis and organ failure — having only days to live.

Grey's Anatomy Season 10, Episode 13 — "Take It Back" — airs Thursday, February 27, at 9 p.m. ET.
