Best news ever: Grey’s Anatomy’s Sandra Oh (Cristina Yang) is starring in a movie with Melissa McCarthy. Seriously, what more could you want? The trailer, perhaps, which has finally been released? We are happy to assist.

The movie, Tammy, is all about — you guessed it — Tammy, a character played by Melissa who loses her job and husband and then sets off on a road trip with her boozy grandmother (Susan Sarandon). Sandra has recently confirmed that she is in the movie, and we can’t wait to find out what role she’s taken on.

In the trailer, we don’t get to see Sandra, but we do get a general sense of how much fun this movie’s actually going to be. At least, judging by the fact that Melissa’s apparently robbing a fast food restaurant with a paper bag over her head à la Shia LaBeouf, anyway. Check out the trailer below!

While Tammy looks like it’s going to be awesome, we can’t deny that Sandra’s best film role of all time was Principal Gupta in The Princess Diaries. The queen is coming.”

Wait, does this mean we have to admit that the day is rapidly approaching where Sandra leaves Cristina Yang behind and ups her movie game instead? No, we’ll continue living in denial.

Looking forward to seeing Tammy? What kind of role do you think Sandra will play?
