Just as we thought, we did find out within the first few minutes of Season 10, Episode 13 ("Take It Back") that April (Sarah Drew) had chosen Jackson (Jesse Williams) — joyously running with him out of the barn and into his conveniently-parked car.

And even though we saw her freak out about the choice — twice — she joyously accepted Jackson's idea to drive 13 hours for a shotgun marriage.

As Meredith observes via voiceover, "The epically good decisions and the epically bad decisions look the same when you make them." (Sounds pretty ominous, right?)

But then the storyline took a three-week jump, and everyone had processed the wedding drama… for the most part. Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) and Callie (Sara Ramirez) got over whatever freakout the former had in the parking lot and were even looking at houses to buy. Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Cristina (Sandra Oh) were almost back to normal and cutting together. Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and Ben (Jason George) were cute and loving, with Ben now working at Grey Sloan. Even Shane (Gaius Charles) and Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) were coming back into the fold.

Alex (Justin Chambers) and Jo (Camilla Luddington) weren't doing so well, however. Alex was trying (and failing) to deal with his rage toward Shane while struggling to reunite his dying father with his estranged family, and Jo was concerned that Alex was suddenly referring to her as his fiancee.

Plus, the board members get a nasty shock when one of the residents files multiple sexual harassment complaints to HR. We think it's implied that Stephanie was the greasy wheel, but didn't Owen (Kevin McKidd) say the anonymous tipster was a resident? Hmm…

Anyway, what did you think of the episode? Did you like the Mrs. Jackson Avery twist? Let us know by rating it with the star system you see here!
