OK, we've heard of some pretty extreme spa treatments, but what exactly is a sushi facial? (And why are we suddenly hungry?)

Grey's Anatomy star Camilla Luddington (Jo Wilson) found out all about it on a recent excursion to the Spa at Four Seasons Los Angeles — and cameras from E! News were there for the fishy fun!

As you can see in the video below, Camilla's facialist explains that a "sushi facial" is just a nickname for the spa's exclusive Pure Marine Collagen Facial — which promises to "rebuild aging skin cells and replenish the same type of collagen that time takes away," resulting in "softness, smoothness, tone, and firmness."

In the video, the 30-year-old actress explains that she wants to spruce up her appearance to wine and dine with fellow celebs at Elton John's Oscar Party. "I hope this will make me look gorgeous for that day. Fingers crossed," she laughs. "I've been working 14-hour days, so I need that extra little help."

The facial incorporates patented Omega 3s, wrinkle-reducing peptides, and moisture-replenishing hyaluronic acid — along with, you guessed it, seaweed.

"Most facials smell delicious," the facialist tells Camila. "You're not going to smell so delicious."

But Camilla was a convert: "I can feel my skin being more hydrated. It feels great."

Would you consent to being wrapped in seaweed like a California roll? Or is this procedure best left to Hollywood celebs? Let us know in the comments below.
