Cristina better get red-carpet ready! Our fave cardiothoracic surgeon is nominated for the Oscars of the medical field in Grey's Anatomy Season 10, Episode 19 — "I'm Winning," airing April 10 — ABC's official synopsis reveals:

"Cristina [Sandra Oh] is nominated for a Harper Avery, and although most of her fellow doctors are ecstatic, she won’t let herself get too excited. Bailey [Chandra Wilson] continues to work on a young boy without an immune system. Alex [Justin Chambers] thinks about making a change; Callie [Sara Ramirez] and Derek [Patrick Dempsey] work with a machine that recognizes emotions. Meanwhile, Richard [James Pickens Jr.gives the residents a pep talk about the exciting projects going on around the hospital.

In case that award (and the surname therein) sound familiar, the namesake of the prize is Harper Avery, Jackson's grandfather. Past winners include Ellis Grey (Kate Burton) — aka mother of Cristina's "person" — and Preston Burke (Isaiah Washington) — aka Cristina's once-and-potentially-future lover.

How typical is it for Cristina to not get psyched? The only things that excite Dr. Yang, it would seem, are are blood and guts and surgery.

Alex's "change" has us a little nervous. We don't think his relationship with Jo (Camilla Luddington) is in jeopardy — these two have proven to be resilient partners who are in it for the long haul. Hopefully whatever "change" he's mulling over is a positive one — maybe he'll propose!

And we're glad to hear that Callie and Derek are charging ahead in their research, with all of that intellectual-rights legal drama as water under the proverbial bridge.

Grey's Anatomy airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
