As any award show plus-one knows, it's a fun and glamorous honor to be the date of a nominee — and it's an honor Cristina is denying Owen on Grey's Anatomy, according to ABC's synopsis for Season 10, Episode 20 — "Go It Alone" — airing April 17.

Here's what the network has to say about about the installment:

Cristina [Sandra Oh] enlists Meredith [Ellen Pompeo] to help her prepare an acceptance speech for her possible Harper Avery win, and while Owen offers to attend the ceremony with her, she insists on going alone. Meanwhile, Derek [Patrick Dempsey] feels overwhelmed between his responsibilities at home and at the hospital. April [Sarah Drew] and Jackson [Jesse Williams] come to a disagreement on children and religion, and Callie [Sara Ramirez] and Arizona [Jessica Capshaw] try to reconnect in their marriage.

Yikes, ABC, way to bury the lead! Callie and Arizona "try to reconnect"? Last time we checked, our favorite sapphic spouses we doing just fine — what with diamond rings, new houses, and impromptu sidewalk waltzes. Well, we'll just have to wait to see what bleep hits the fan this time.

Meanwhile, Jackson and April are revisiting the whole religion issue after being so surprised to learn they had opposing ideas in mind for their prospective kids' upbringing. (It remains to be seen, however, if the children will be raised to be comfortable around livestock like April wants!)

What do you think will disconnect Callie and Arizona? How will April and Jackson resolve their differences? Speculate away below.

Grey's Anatomy airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
