Hiding their happy baby news is getting much harder for Jackson (Jesse Williams) and April (Sarah Drew) as you can see in this sneak peek for the episode of Grey's Anatomy airing tonight, Thursday, May 8 —Season 10, Episode 23: "Everything I Try to Do, Nothing Seems to Turn Out Right."
As the scene starts, April and Jackson are admiring her new sonogram image. "I wanna send this to my mom!" April says.
"Of course!" Jackson responds. "Right after the first trimester. Two more weeks."
"C'mon!" April protests. "That's so far."
"Look, if we start telling people, we gotta tell my mom," Jackson says, referring to his naysayer of a mother, Catherine Avery (Debbie Allen). "She already tried to torpedo our relationship once over a hypothetical child. What do you think she's gonna do with a real one?"
"Hi!" April blurts, a little too enthusiastically. "Hey! Just, uh, having a check-up with the ol' OB-GYN! Making sure all the parts are in order."
Callie seems to buy the alibi for a moment… but then notices something amiss. "Both of you?" she says.
Uh-oh. The jig may be up. We'll just have to see whether Callie roots out the truth when Grey's Anatomy airs tonight at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
Will the rest of the hospital find out that April and Jackson are expecting? Or will they be able to keep the impending baby a secret for a while longer? Speculate away in the comments below.
