Damn, Canada — did we Americans need another reason to be jealous of you? Is it not enough that you have cheaper schools, better air quality, maple syrup, a healthier economy, and the birthplace of Sandra Oh? Now you get to watch Season 11 of Grey's Anatomy a day before we do, too?

OK, we're not actually mad. We love our neighbors to the north. But we are seriously jealous that Canucks will get nearly a full day’s head start on us when next season of Grey's rolls around.

CTV — the network that broadcasts Grey's up there — announced its 2014-2015 schedule on June 5, and one of the forthcoming changes is that Grey's will now air on Wednesdays at 10 p.m.

Stateside, the show will air in the United States on Thursdays at 8 p.m, aka 22 hours later.

It's possible that the season will actually start later in Canada than it will here, giving us Americans the overall edge, but we doubt that'll happen since CTV has been airing Grey's concurrent to ABC's schedule.

So diehard Grey's fans, you may want to move to Canada because that's the only way you'll be able to see these episodes early. Well, legally, anyway.

We absolutely do not endorse downloading the episodes for the nice price from one of the thousands of readily available and super convenient pirate sites out there that will surely upload the episodes way earlier than they'll air here in the U.S. We would never.

Grey's Anatomy Season 11 airs this fall.
