Attention, Grey's Anatomy fans, stat! We only have 10 days, 5 hours, 14 minutes, and 46 seconds to wait — at the time of us post this article — until our fave medical drama once again keeps us on the edges of our sofas.

That's because Season 11 of Grey's Anatomy will start on Thursday, September 25, 2014, at 8 p.m. ET.

This news shouldn't necessarily surprise you since Grey's has started between September 21 and 27 every year since Season 2. Talk about consistency!

What may be surprising, however, is that this is the first season for which Grey's will air at 8 p.m. ET instead of 9 p.m. That's because ABC is devoting its entire Thursday night lineup to Shondaland — with Grey's and Scandal moving up an hour to make way for the new show Shonda Rhimes is executive-producing, How to Get Away With Murder.

We also know Grey's will look different when it comes back. Cast members Sandra Oh (Cristina Yang), Gaius Charles (Shane Ross), and Tessa Ferrer (Leah Murphy) have departed the series; and Caterina Scorsone (Amelia Shepherd) is coming on full-time.

Check out our Season 11 page for the rest of the intel we have on the new episodes, including spoilers and photos. Having so much Grey's on the horizon is making us all feel "bright and shiny." Get your DVRs prepped, people!

Don't miss the episode.
