Grey's Anatomy may be entering its 11th season — and thus, its second decade on the air — but creator Shonda Rhimes has no intention of ending it anytime soon.

At the Television Critics Association summer press tour on July 14, a reporter asked Shonda if she was thinking about bringing the long-running medical drama to a close.

"Grey's is still the No. 1 drama on television for anybody under the age of 50, so no," the creative powerhouse responded, per Access Hollywood. (And she's right: No other drama was higher-rated last season among 18-to-49-year-olds.)

She continued: "Right now, as long as I am still interested in what happens next, I am not thinking about that yet."

Another journalist asked Shonda about the workload of running Grey'sScandal, and new drama How to Get Away With Murder, which she's executive producing.

"I've had three shows on the air before," the 44-year-old observed. "It's not new at all. I've had three shows on the air, two of which I created and one of which I was producing [2011's Off the Map]. I've had three shows, all of which I created, all of which I was producing. So in a weird way, this is not as much work as when I had Grey'sPrivate [Practice], and Scandal on the air … People ask me that question a lot, and I don't know what to tell them. You do as much work as you have in front of you and then you do the same amount of work the next day. That's how I balance it."

More power to her!

Grey's Anatomy Season 11 premieres Thursday, September 25, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
