Surprise! Sara Ramirez (Callie Torres) and Jessica Capshaw (Arizona Robbins) aren't the first Grey's Anatomy actresses to romance one another on screen. Not only did Sandra Oh (Cristina Yang) and Kate Walsh (Addison Montgomery) appear together in the 2003 movie Under the Tuscan Sun, their characters were lovers!

As you can see in this clip Sandra (with straight hair) and Kate (with a short bob) played partners expecting a little one on the way. And get this: Kate's character, Grace, even works at a hospital.

Though the Grey's alums weren't the focus on the movie — um, shouldn't our fave actors lead every production? — Sandra did have a sizable part, playing Patti, the best friend of protagonist Frances (Diane Lane), who flies out to Tuscany after Frances impulsively buys a villa there.

As for Kate, well, she had less of a part in the movie… if you catch our drift.

Under the Tuscan Sun — written and directed by Audrey Wells based on a memoir of the same name by Frances Mayes — turned out to be a hit with critics and audiences alike, eventually earning $58.9 million worldwide and snagging a Golden Globe nomination for Diane Lane.

But for us Grey's fans, the movie will always have a different legacy!

Don't miss the episode.
