Break out the oversized lab coat and scrubs, stat! Grey's Anatomy star Sarah Drew (April Kepner) is expecting a second baby with husband, Peter Lanfer, according to People.

That means that their kiddo, Micah Emmanuel, now 2-and-a-half, will be a big brother!

"Peter and I are delighted to announce our pregnancy," the 33-year-old actress tells the magazine. "We can't wait to introduce Micah to his little brother or sister."

We're just wondering if this pregnancy was scripted by Grey's mastermind Shonda Rhimes! After all, Sarah's character, April, became pregnant at the end of Season 10. Hey, never underestimate the powers of Shonda…

That serendipitous timing must come as a relief to the wardrobe, prop, and camera departments of Grey's — who have had to team up to hide many real-life pregnancies over the course of the show's 10 seasons, including Sarah's first time with a bun in the oven.

This time around, however, the star’s expanding belly will surely be written into the show.

Plus, Sarah knows that her new arrival will have a playdate whenever she's filming scenes with her on-air husband! Jesse Williams (Jackson Avery) just welcomed a baby girl this fall.

Congrats to Sarah, Peter, and Micah — what exciting news!

Grey's Anatomy Season 11 premieres Thursday, September 25, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
