Oh, Katherine Heigl (Izzie Stevens). You just got dissed...again.

The former Grey's Anatomy Golden Girl recently went on a PR tour for her new movie, One for the Money, where she spent the entire time talking about how she'd really like to return to Grey's Anatomy. So far, there's been resounding silence from the Grey's camp in repsonce to the offer.

To add probably unintended insult to injury, the Huffington Post recently asked Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey) which character, dead or alive, she'd like to see return to the show, and she did not pick Izzie.

"Well, I have to say, I do love Kate Burton," Ellen decided. Kate, for those of you who have forgotten, played Meredith's now deceased mother, Ellis, and made a entertaining return last week for the Alternate Reality episode (Season 8, Episode 13: "If/Then").

"[Kate]'s a tremendous actress, and any minute I get to work with her is fun," Ellen explained, adding that Meredith's strained relationship with her mother "was such an interesting dynamic, and it's so fun to play."

No one can blame Ellen for wanting to work with Kate Burton, but this has still got to sting at least a little for Katherine, right?

Remember to tune in to the next Grey's episode on Thursday, February 9, at 9 pm ET/PT on ABC.
