Robert Baker, better known to us Grey's Anatomy fanatics as the dearly departed Dr. Percy, who died less-than-peacefully in Dr. Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and Mandy Moore's arms (oh, what a way to go!) during the Season 6 shootout has landed himself a huge role on the silver screen.

Robert will be starring opposite Colin Firth and Reese Witherspoon (fancy!) in Devil's Knot, a film based on the wrongful imprisonment of the West Memphis 3. Robert plays Detective Bryan Ridge, the first officer on the scene after the triple homicide. Mmm, he does have sort of an Elliot Stabler vibe about him, no?

Can't get enough Percy in your life after his tragic and untimely Grey's Anatomy swan song? You can also catch him on the big screen in Disney's The Lone Ranger (opposite Jack White? What?) later next year.

Miss Grey’s? Us too. Luckily the show will return to Thursdays at 9 p.m. with all-new episodes in the fall on ABC.
