One of the great things about Twitter is that it allows famous figures to voice their honest opinions on all sorts of topics, and Grey's Anatomy showrunner Shonda Rhimes is quick to tell fans what she really thinks about almost everything. Most recently, she expressed some very understandable disgust in one Twitter commentator's awkward phrasing.

"It's really time for Harrison to be getting some vagina on Scandal," a fan tweeted at Shonda.

Does Shonda agree that Harrison (Columbus Short) deserves romance? We don't know, because she was distracted by the phrasing of the comments.

"The phrase 'getting some vagina'? That's a thing people say? For reals?" Shonda asked. Later, she added, "IT IS NOT A PHRASE. For anyone. Let's not make it a phrase. FYI: 'Getting some penis?' Not hot either."

We're on Shonda's side with this one. While we'd love to see the ultra-handsome Harrison have a hot hookup or ten on Scandal, we'd prefer a slightly more elegant way of putting it.

Color us unsurprised that Shonda — queen of smoldering TV — can easily spot the line between sexy and vulgar.
