Grey's Anatomy Canadian Season 8, Episode 23 Promo: Derek's Amazing Job Offer

In this preview for the penultimate episode of Grey's Anatomy Season 8, Episode 23: "Migration,"  from Canada's CTV, we're given a slightly different look at what will happen in the episode than in the American preview.

Most notably, we learn that the residents aren't the only ones being dealt awesome job offers: Harvard has tapped Derek (Patrick Dempsey) to be the new head of their neuro department. Since Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) recently interviewed for a great job in Boston, this seems perfect, but Mer insists they are staying in Seattle.

Um … Why, exactly? Sure, Seattle Grace-Mercy West is home, but based on this sneak peek, all of Mer's friends have been offered great jobs elsewhere. Heck, we learn Cristina (Sandra Oh) has been offered a great position at Yale, which isn't all that far from Boston. They could all move to the East Coast together!
