What did you think of Grey's Anatomy Season 8, Episode 20: "The Girl With No Name"?

The doctors at Seattle Grace-Mercy West have started setting up their interviews, and it seems like each of them has their own quirk in the process. Karev (Justin Chambers) is struggling to land interviews at all, and the one he goes on in Toledo fails to impress him. Cristina (Sandra Oh) is getting flowers and cookies and wine from the top programs, Jackson (Jesse Williams) is irritated by the nepotism behind his favorable interviews, and Kepner (Sarah Drew) is having trouble impressing department chiefs with her chipper personality.

Meanwhile, Holly is the much-anticipated patient who seems to have suffered from 12 years of sexual abuse. She immediately “imprints” on Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), which forces (well, did it really? She could have said no...) Mer to postpone her interview. Cristina is shocked to come home to what she thinks is an empty apartment and find Owen (Kevin McKidd) and his clothes all over the place. The good news is, she’s way less emotional than last week, focused almost entirely on her prospects, and her “person” taking her own prospects seriously.

Bailey’s (Chanda Wilson) emotional scene was just that — a scene. Of course, the extent to which she panicked, and earlier clues in the episode that she was feeling a bit over-sensitive to dark topics, were signs that Bailey was experiencing a deeper level of anxiety ever since Holly’s arrival at the hospital.

What did you think of Cristina and Owen’s much-improved working relationship? And Holly’s confession that she missed her captor? And what about Adele’s new … boyfriend? Our hearts broke a bit when Richard (James Pickens Jr.) tried to jog her memory by singing “My Funny Valentine,” but Adele just called out another man’s name.
