Another Thursday, another groundbreaking surgery on Grey's Anatomy. These Seattle Grace-Mercy West surgeons sure do break a lot of records, don’t they? This time, the docs are working on conjoined twins.

The twins in question are Brandi and Andi. They're cute as a button, but they're also stuck butt-to-butt. And it's all-hands-on-deck as the doctors prepare to rectify that. They split into Team Edward and Team Jacob — oops, Lost references are hard to resist! — Team Red and Team Green, and rehearse how each team is going to handle their respective twin.

A lot is riding on the "flip," the riskiest part of the procedure, in which the doctors have to turn the twin-set over to cut on the opposite side without contaminating the open wound or tangling the cords. The pressure is really getting to Arizona (Jessica Capshaw), who nearly cracks under all the stress. Seriously, she's annoying. Also, right before the flip, Richard (James Pickens Jr.) steals Alex's (Justin Chambers) role in the surgery.

The flip itself goes flawlessly, and the docs separate Tweedledee from Tweedledum, but then Brandi's one kidney fails, so the docs have to get a kidney for her from Andi. Right before the transplant, Richard apologizes to Alex, confessing that his age (“You realize you have more yesterdays than tomorrows.”) is making him feel obsolete. Alex takes pity and gives Richard his role in the transplant; Richard gloats, calling Alex a sucker. Hah! We love that crafter codger.

After the surgery ends and the twins are fine, Callie (Sara Ramirez) gives Arizona a taste of her own medicine by micromanaging how Arizona cares for Sofia, and Arizona admits she was a monster in the OR.

Oh, and hey, by the way, Bailey (Chanda Wilson) is back with Ben! Surprise! But the heat is on as he pressures her to move in. (Whoa, dude! Chillax a bit, huh?) She practically coerces Meredith(Ellen Pompeo) to scrub in on her surgery with Ben to act as a buffer, but Meredith is hardly any help at all.

Right when Bailey goes on a rant about how she is such a good surgeon because she keeps her personal life out of the OR, the surgical staff realizes that they're missing a sponge. Meredith suggests it's in the patient's chest cavity, sending Bailey into a fit, but then Mer tells Bailey that the sponge is stuck to Bailey's shoe. Did Mer know all along? Was this all a ploy? Those Greys can be sly like foxes!

Apparently, Teddy (Kim Raver) has been making Cristina (Sandra Oh) recite the steps of Henry's surgery ad infinitum for days, and today is no exception. Seriously, we hear the whole chronology approximately seventeen times. Teddy even stops Cristina from time to time to grill her about specifics. It all proves too much for April (Sarah Drew), who finally snaps and yells at Teddy to stop. Teddy ignores her, and only stops when she is good and ready to come to terms with Henry's death. When that happens, Teddy even commends Cristina, saying that Cristina operated like she herself would. Okay, Terrifying Teddy is gone. We can all breathe a little easier now.

By the end, Bailey decides to move in with Ben gradually, starting with just a toothbrush. Oh, and speaking of baby steps, Zola takes her first, to Mer and Der's (Patrick Dempsey) delight. And Lexie(Chyler Leigh) hears Mark (Eric Dane) saying that he wishes she could have been in the OR with him, and she enthusiastically agrees before realizing that he's not talking to her — he's talking to Julia on his Bluetooth. Whoopie-daisy! The jig is up now, Lexie..
