Grey’s Anatomy Season 8 Finale Promo: Doctors in Danger, Derek Missing (VIDEO)

Last night’s episode of Grey's Anatomy (Season 8, Episode 23: "Migration") ended with a bang. At the very end of the episode we got a very brief glimpse of what to expect in the Season 8 finale (Season 8, Episode 24, "Flight"). Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) was lying in a field, surrounded by plane wreckage, smoke, and screams.

In the promo below, check out what lies in store for her once she comes to. Cristina (Sandra Oh) tells her that Derek (Patrick Dempsey) was “sucked out the side” of the plane, while someone who looks like Lexie (Chyler Leigh) is trapped under the wreck with a head wound, and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) is frighteningly trapped as well. Will Cristina and Meredith be the only doctors nimble enough to save everyone?

And where is Derek, indeed! Watch the promo below.
