Looks intense at Seattle Grace.
As shocked as we were when we found out that Grey’s Anatomy’s last 2011 episode (Season 8, Episode 9: “Dark Was the Night”) was November 10th — and that we’d have to wait until January 2012 to see the aftermath of Henry’s sudden death — we’re relieved to find out that Shonda & Co. aren’t leaving us hanging too long.
According to TVLine, Grey’s will return on Thursday, January 5, 2012 with Episode 10. Alas, no title yet, but truthfully we’re not quite finished conjuring up theories on how Teddy (Kim Raver) will react to the heartbreaking news. We’ll keep ourselves busy just thinking about all the possible outcomes.
Also, good news for Private Practice fans: PP will also be back in January with the much-anticipated follow-up to last night’s intervention episode. Happy brainstorming!
