The loss of Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) is not to be underestimated on Grey’s Anatomy. Mark was an expert at a lot of things, one of which was being the hospital’s most notorious man whore. Without Mark, who’s going to make out with all the nurses?

We already know that Shonda Rhimes has mentioned that she wants Alex (Justin Chambers) to “find his person” in Season 9, but that doesn’t mean that he’s going to find her in Episode 1.

Actually, that’s the exact opposite of what’s going to happen. Let’s just say that Seattle’s bad boy is going to start the season … bad. Shonda told TV Guide that Alex will be "a dog sleeping around" at the start of Season 9.

Alex isn’t exactly a rookie when it comes to the on-call room, so we’re sure he’ll have no problem in that department. That being said, how many women does it take to make someone a dog? Are you worried that he’ll go too far?

But like most things, Alex’s sluttiness too shall pass. As the season progresses, Shonda hopes Alex will find his “true love” — and maybe more! TV Guide reports that Season 9 could be the season we finally learn about Alex’s troubled childhood and maybe even meet his abusive father.

What are you guys most looking forward to: Alex’s sexcapades, his probable romance, or the possible introduction of his drug-addicted father? Any casting suggestions?

Grey’s Anatomy Season 9 will premiere on Thursday, September 27 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
