After a mini-hiatus Grey’s Anatomy is back with Season 9, Episode 21: “Sleeping Monster” (April 25), and we can't wait to return to the wonderful world of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. In this sneak peek, we get to hear more about one of our favorite Grey's topics: Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) pregnancy.
It turns out Mer wants to have her pregnancy naturally, and she wants Cristina (Sandra Oh) to be in the room, to make sure Derek (Patrick Dempsey) doesn't have her pumped full of drugs as soon as she starts screaming. Cristina, however, is not down with this idea.
"Yeah, I'm not gonna do that," she tells her BFF. "When babies come out, people poop on the table." And, as she points out later, one of the reasons she and Mer's friendship is so strong is they haven't seen each other poop.
We're glad there's some humor to break up the stress over Bailey this week!
Check out the official synopsis for the episode:
Bailey finds herself at the center of a CDC investigation surrounding the death of several of her patients, as Jackson and the rest of the board members argue over how to address the crisis with the public. Meanwhile, Cristina teases Alex about his unspoken feelings for Jo, and Owen continues to take special care of Ethan as the condition of his parents remains uncertain.
