Bailey spent the episode giving the other doctors the silent treatment, much to their distress. But she wasn't just angry: She was also obsessively screening herself for the disease that killed her patients. She's gone off the deep end because of guilt, and it's freaking us out. (Amazing acting from Chandra Wilson, by the way). Fortunately, her hot hubby Ben showed up after Richard called him. With his support, we have a feeling she'll recover.

Cristina, meanwhile, spent the episode trying to save Ethan's dad, who isn't dead yet, but also doesn't seem to be coming out of his coma. Probably ever. And speaking of Ethan, he overdosed after getting into his grandmother's sleeping pills, making her decide she's an unfit guardian. Who will take Ethan in?

Arizona had to deal with a hot, amazing, flirty craniofacial specialist who was at the hospital for an especially difficult surgery. Arizona seemed awfully guilty about how flirty the specialist was, and had to go into an entire speech about how she's happily married. Where did this come from? Sure, the doc is a major cutie, but that doesn't seem to explain Arizona's reaction. Why was she so flustered at being a bit attracted to someone else?

April and Jackson had a chance to work through their tension as they operated together, which made us Japril shippers very happy — though things were still awkward between them after their surgery was done. Though as much as we are Japril shippers, we must say, her little freak out at the end of the episode was the most we've ever liked Stephanie.

On the flip side, things got worse for Alex and Jo — until the very end, when Jo showed up on Alex's doorstep with a bloodied face. Wait... did Jason hit her? Whoa.

In other medical news, there was a decently entertaining and emotional case about a magic trick gone wrong, and an amusing side story about a girl with an annoying little brother. Both felt a little tacked on, but nice enough.

Overall, it was a solid kick off to the finale, and the last fifteen minutes we especially good. We give it  4 stars. What about you?
